This summer Manuel Günther will make his debut at the Bayreuth Festival, performing the role of the Dritter Knappe in Parsifal by Richard Wagner – a role he previously interpreted, among other places, in Paris, Munich, and Hamburg.

At short notice, tenor Manuel Günther will be appearing today at Staatsoper Dresden. He will make his debut in the role of Belmonte in the house’s production of Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio.

At the end of the season 2024/25 , Manuel Günther will return to Hamburg to perform the role of Don Basilio in Mozart’s opera Le nozze di Figaro at the State Opera. A total of three performances are scheduled.

Manuel Günther will make a last-minute appearance on 22.10.2024 at the Zurich Opera House in the premiere of Strauss’s opera “Ariadne auf Naxos.” He will be making his debut at this venue, taking on the musical role of Brighella, which he last performed in 2023 at the Staatsoper Dresden.

End of december Manuel Günther will give is house debut at Staatstheater Wiesbaden with the role of Tamino in Mozarts “The magic flute”.
He has been able interpret this lyrical Mozart role several times in 2023.
UPDATE: The tenor will sing this beautiful role again on february 2nd & 28th, march 24th and also on june 29th at Staatstheater Wiesbaden.

In 2024 Manuel Günther will make his debut at Tonhalle Zurich.
Together with the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra under the baton of Joachim Krause, Bach’s Mass in B minor will be performed on March 28th and 29th.

In the summer of 2023 Manuel Günther will return to the Salzburg Festival for the new production of Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”.
He was last a member of the Salzburg Young Singers Project in 2012 where he started his international career.
This summer he will interpret the role of Don Basilio.

On July 4th 2022 Manuel Günther will make his debut at Herkulessaal Munich with the orchestra of Bayerischer Rundfunk.
The occasion is the 30th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic of Croatia by the Federal Republic of Germany.

In April the tenor will celebrate his Spanish debut at the Auditorio Nacional de Musica Madrid where he sings Bachs St Matthew Passion.
Other concerts include Mendelssohns “Elias” at Philharmonie Berlin in May as well as Bachs St. John Passion, Haydns “The Seasons” and Mendelssohns “Elias” around Munich.
